CROCHET: A lovely crochet pattern for a layette-or “full set” of items for a new baby; ideal to crochet as a gift for a birth, christening or baby shower. Alternatively any item on its own it also a nice gift (well-2 of the bootees of course!)
There is a bonnet and bootee set, an elegant and simple matinee coat and a lovely crochet baby blanket, which is reversible and has a trimmed edge-perfect as a pram or buggy blanket as it also looks pretty when folded back.
The block stitch is nice and simple so this would suit a boy baby as well as a girl… but maybe not in pink trim!
