CROCHET: A classic late sixties/early 70s hippy poncho made in squares like a “granny blanket” and with a thick fringe for good measure.
If you are just starting to crochet this is a nice one to begin with; the square is a little different from a standard granny and would be a good one for blankets or cushions too. If practice makes perfect, you’ll be expert by the time all the squares are done LOL.
Doublet was like a “Lopi” wool yarn - chunky/bulky but softly spun.
