KNITTING: A very simple but pretty christening or new baby gift set which is actually quite easy to knit.
The set includes a beautiful shawl and traditional long christening robe, but also has a sweet little matinee coat, with matching bonnet and booties. The bonnet and bootees-or jacket- would be nice ideas for a baby shower gift too.
Lots of choice of things to make for the new baby; and mainly not too difficult a project (although there is a rather a lot of knitting in that shawl… just- think of it as a future heirloom…)
