CROCHET: A cute kitsch “pineapple” tea cosy. It is crocheted in two halves and trimmed on top with an exuberant clump of crocheted leaves. It is made from the bottom upwards in a pretty interlocking shell type of stitch; sometimes called daisy or Catherine wheel stitch. It is fairly quick to make as there are not many rows to achieve the pineapple effect. This could also be made just in the texture in any colour –or striped- it is still very effective.
