KNITTING: this cute tea cosy is like a child’s drawing of a fairytale house. There are lots of interesting textures on the “brick” walls, “tiled” roof, windows and doors. It is a rectangular shape-made in two halves to pop over the pot, with openings for spout and handle.
The walls, windows and door are knitted as one piece in an intarsia technique with a chart included; but they could be knitted separately and sewn on if you prefer. The details are embroidered. The quirky roof is made in 4 pieces, picked up from the roof gutter or “ridge”.
