KNITTING: this one is such an unusual style to find in Aran knitting! I am not usually keen on eighties big knits-but this one is rather fetching LOL. Fab Dolman sleeves on the sweater or ‘batwing’ jumper make it pretty unique!
The diamond trellis and cable patterns are worked from a chart-and in 2 different directions on either sleeve; only the basic cast on and shapings are given in written instruction part.
PLEASE NOTE: the pattern is knitted from charts which originally were only approx. 23 x 16cm. The 2 charts were divided onto 4 pages; I have slightly enlarged them but they are still having to fit on A4 pages. I have printed a small overlap – to - once printed - help line up and tape them together for use. I have also included 2 pages showing how they look when placed together but these were not intended for use when knitting, although they could actually be zoomed in on a screen. (You can enlarge to print the individual PDF pages in “chunks” if wished.)
