CROCHET: A simply designed boxy sweater originally intended for new crocheters and crocheted in a fuzzy, chunky yarn using a quick to grow method.(read below).
This iconic 1980s style has a cropped body shape with a deep ribbed welt , a square neck and short sleeves from a dropped shoulderline.
N.B. the stitches are made in a method slightly different to usual ; described as “super -Quick crochet”, extra tall rows are linked sideways as they are made ,reinforcing the vertical structure. There is a step by step picture tutorial given for this method.
