CROCHET: these items of evening wear are probably better interpreted as summer or festival wear now. The cute little bodice is very simple to crochet and would look fab in cotton with some long fringing!
The pretty shawl with its deep fringe is crocheted in a close ”V” stitch, made from the tip up to the top edge. It is easy to enlarge this shawl by continuing to increase... or make a smaller “shawlette” for the neck-and also the fringe can be omitted or minimised.
