CROCHET: An elegant 70s offering of a statement crocheted suit with an unstructured jacket and skirt; perfect for weddings or a special event. The jacket peplum and the skirt are crocheted in a disc like loop stitch which is highly textured and unusual.
The jacket body and sleeves however are crocheted in an easy “granny stitch, giving a very wearable little top if the deep peplum is shortened to a couple of rows. Great for summer- and for festivals make it even shorter as crop top.
Shortening or lengthening the skirt to full length ( it is made top down-so this is easy) gives all sorts of crochet mini skirt, evening wear and boho wedding dress possibilities.
You can easily customise this adaptable pattern for a unique look with a vintage flavour. (However I do think maybe lace suit AND lace tights a bit of a vintage look overkill... but it was the fashion!)
