CROCHET: A delightful short cape or capelet assembled from very pretty floral “granny square” style motifs. The cape is gradually enlarged from the neck row by use of increased hook sizes-so no complex sewing or shaping is needed.
Full instructions are given for the initial flower square motif and for joining the squares, in a join as you go, (J.A.Y.G.) into bands.
Of course you could use also this pretty variation of a granny square, or flower motif square for any garment or project such as a blanket, cushion or bag that you wish.
