KNITTING: I have combined 3 patterns here for 11 to 12 inch (28 to 30cm) teen dolls; very old scraps from saved from vintage magazines. ( Shown modelled on Sindy. )
The chunky jacket and sweater are my favourites-lovely little textured bits of knitting, and the beach and tennis sets are simple but versatile designs for your dolls.(Good value -as basically a girl’s leisure wardrobe covered-for all weathers and location!)
Their descriptions read; “minute makes” and “set for tennis” , “down at the beach” and “all dolled up”!
It seems no pattern editor could resist the “dolled up” phrase in describing doll’s clothes patterns; in the UK it means dressed up in one’s finery-usually for an occasion or a night out… and nowadays with a somewhat sardonic twist, often meaning dressed with somewhat dubious taste, LOL.
There is also a striped pencil case pattern included on one page; a traditional ‘learn to knit’ item.
