KNITTING: A wonderfully retro chunky zip front man’s sweater, with a garter stitch collar. This is from a “world” knitting booklet –so for Canada’s entry it is sporting a nice macho moose motif with spruce trees.
Perfect for a retro Christmas sweater knit! (Well if we go with “Christmas trees” and the moose as reindeer ! ) Ideal for a Christmas gift, but otherwise without the moose/ reindeer a good basic shape for beginner garment makers .
The motif on its own is quite a fun thing to add to all sorts of Christmas projects, however please note; this is not a charted motif. Instructions are given stitch by stitch, row by row. Some like this old fashioned method, you can keep track easily; but if you prefer a chart, you will have to make your own from these instructions ( there is a very clear image in the PDF to copy, as well).
