KNITTING: SO sweet- a  Peter bunny rabbit hot water bottle cover,   full of vintage charm; perfect as a nursery gift for a baby shower a new baby( for use later on, or even for mummy in those long nights!).

This is a lovely little thing to knit  at any time; but especially nice at Easter time for older toddlers; it is a good compromise between a toy and something more useful and long lasting for those precious “knitting hours”. You could also pop in an Easter egg inside it too...    but not at the same time as a hot water bottle obviously!

The bunny head would make into a cute lovey mini blanket comforter too (or as a hand puppet).

It   measures 16” (40cm) from ear tip to base so it fits a small size hot water bottle (described as “cot size 1”in this vintage pattern). I would measure one done to be sure, or knit it to fit an existing bottle as it is very easily altered in size by varying the rows or stitches a little.
