CROCHET: An ultra cute crop top and long lacy trousers (pants); very daring… and even more so when first made in the 1970s!
These cheeky items still look right up to date; great for festivals, parties, beaches and sexy summer days! Plus any “disco dances” you happen to find!
Both of these garments have a chunky ecru lace effect with bands of shell pattern alternating with bands of mesh stitch which is an unusual change from all over lace.
You can make trousers any length; hot pants or Bermudas anyone? (both garments are worked bottom up, so you would need to plan alterations). I also have a lot of” top down” ones-just ask.
