A CROCHET pattern -

A really pretty sundress made in a “ripple –along” pattern.

(Similar to the afghan effect- but more wearable!)

This is a great project for those new to garment crochet. The shaping is done by subtle changes in the ripple pattern- no decreases or increases – and no side seams! It would make a pretty tank top as well if you started in at the middle- it is worked hem up.

It was made originally in a synthetic crepe double knit (worsted) yarn the popular “Patons Promise”. ( see listing 045 for a photo.) However it would be lovely in a cotton mix – and you can make your own colour pattern up (stash buster maybe) or even all one colour for a subtle texture.

An easy, low concentration, project good for watching TV with or chatting with friends.

I have another like this –see my 640 and one with sleeves, 353-and  also a long boho dress –listing 095
