CROCHET: A demure and romantic dress, for a little (and not so little) girlie girl.
The closely fitted bodice has the high waistline and full mini skirt of the iconic London look “dolly dress”. It is crocheted in a very simple “V” stitch which should work up quickly. The skirt is worked down from the waist for easy altering of the length, in a chain mesh stitch with clumps of “flowers” dotted over it ..
This is crocheted in a light weight slightly fuffy yarn, with long sleeves; warm and yes still dainty it would be perfect for winter bridesmaids with a 60s retro vibe.
