KNITTING: Tufty squirrel is a knitted version of a character created in the late 60s for a road safety campaign. He is a typical creation of well-known toy designer Barbara Barlow; full of detail and well observed from nature-despite the clothes in this instance!
This pattern is quite advanced with lots of shaping, loop stitches and lots of details in the finished creature (so, better for display than for robust play).Tufty ‘wears’ trouser, t shirt, jacket and sweet little “slippers” or loafers.
