KNITTING: this is a quirky little pattern from a 1970 magazine. An unusual striped giraffe - a rare chap, especially at only 9 inches/22 cm high.
He is knitted in 3 different coloured stripes, but you could use a printed yarn with short colour changes for a more dappled, spotty effect or a printed sock yarn. He is easy and not to fiddley to knit in UK double knitting Yarn(DK/light worsted /8ply).
