KNITTING: This charming little pattern for super cute kitten and mummy cat is completely evocative of the time. They have even added some balls of wool-traditional cat toys for home knitters- in their cover photo. It is nice and easy to make in plain knitting/garter stitch. A photo of the flat kitted pieces is given, which is very useful. (My friend calls this the “road kill” version-but that is just too cruel for this sweet kitty!)
The clothing is knitted in with the body, except for mum’s skirt, but you could make them all in one colour as “unclothed” and knit the clothing separately; just add a couple of stitches at the sides for seams!
