CROCHET: A pattern for two beautiful crochet square motifs to make into bedspreads, blankets afghans or cushions (pillows.)
They are shown (not very clearly – sorry) worked in crisp cotton. However there is no reason you could not use them in colourful yarn, or scraps-or plain cream for an elegant Aran look.
The large square with the rose centre would look fabulous done in one subtle tone; or with a variety of coloured flowers on one colour background, which is the trend now.
I used a similar medallion motif to the coloured squares for a scarf; these lacy “granny squares” are so useful to make into so many nice projects.
